YUSH, Snow Day, here we come...
...And, yeah, I know I've been talking about this supposed "MEGA HUGE ULTRA GIANT Art Dump" for over a year now...but I swear it IS coming...just very, very, very slowly...XD, And anyway, it's been growing and is now even more "MEGAHUGEULTRAGIANTHUMONGOUS" than before...
So yeah, I'll probably have some time to do it over Winter Break. Of course, there's so many things that I have to do (that I've ALSO put of for a year..XD) that it might not. However, if it isn't, then I'll definitely get to it sometime soon after.
Any-whoo (heh), I've been looking for a new obsession to ween me off of Avatar, because frankly, it's been going on for way too freaking long 0_0...it just...won't end. And I can't focus on any other fandom until it stops sucking all of my attention out of me. So a few months ago I started reading Fly By Night, and was somewhere in the middle until I lost it...XD...that's the 4th book I've lost to that school... but anyway! I found the first one (the one that I initially bought, but then lost before I could start reading it, and then bought a new copy, which is the one that I lost a month ago...that statement does not pretend to make sense...) and I am continuing to read it happily.
Although it isn't really obsession-material, it's awesome, and I'll probably be able to move onto another obsession with too much Avatar trouble after this.
Oh! And guess what? The other day, like a month or so ago, the boy just randomly started singing Don't Stop Believing in science. And then they sang it again on Glee, too. And then, a few days later, my chorus teacher started playing the song at the end of chorus, XD...
...Yeah, I started singing along with them...Don't judge me....
And guess what we're doing in English? Debating the life of an Ant! XD...
In the story, "Hey, Little Ant" A boy is about to step on an ant when they start debating (in rhyme) whether or not he should step on the ant.
I'm a non-squisher, and I'm going to be debating against someone else on Friday.
During the debate, we'll both earn enough points for an A, but only the winner will get it (the loser gets a B)
There will be three rounds to the debate:
1. We both read our essays and give our argument.
While my opponent reads her essay, I'll take notes on where I think she's wrong, and she'll do the same for me.
2. We say "you said this? Well, you're WRONG" and explain why.
3. We say, "You said I was wrong here? Well, I'm RIGHT, and here's why..."

I've been doing TONNNNSSSS of research on ants, finding out whether or not they can feel pain, what kind of ant is in the story, etc.
The most important thing to remember, though, is that we're not talking about ALL Ants, or ants in general, or anything. We're only discussing whether or not That Boy in That Story should squish That Ant.
...So...Wish me luck? XD
Anyway...until next time...
Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlights, people
